1. Definitions

• "Company" refers to Sea's The Day Rent a Car.

• "Customer" refers to the individual or entity booking a rental vehicle, airport transfer, or private chauffeur service.

• "Vehicle" refers to any car provided under a rental agreement.

• "Rental Period" refers to the agreed time between vehicle pickup and return.

• "Services" include car rentals, private airport transfers, and private chauffeur services offered by the Company.

2. Eligibility Requirements

• Customers renting a vehicle must be at least 21 years of age.

• A valid driver's license, government-issued photo ID, and an accepted payment method are required.

• Additional drivers must be approved and listed on the rental agreement before operating the vehicle.

3. Booking and Reservations

• All bookings are subject to availability.

• A reservation is confirmed only after approval by the Company.

• If the selected vehicle is unavailable, the Company may provide a similar vehicle of equal or greater value.

4. Vehicle Use

• Rental vehicles must be used only for lawful purposes.

• The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, off-road driving, or unauthorized commercial activities.

• Only approved drivers listed on the agreement may operate the vehicle.

• Rental vehicles may be driven throughout both the Dutch and French sides of Sint Maarten.

5. Airport Transfers & Chauffeur Services

• Airport transfer and chauffeur bookings should be made in advance whenever possible.

• Customers should provide accurate flight details and pickup information.

• The Company is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including traffic, weather, or airline schedule changes.

6. Rental Rates & Payments

• Rental rates are based on the selected booking period.

• Customers are responsible for fuel replacement (unless otherwise agreed), parking fees, traffic violations, and any additional charges incurred during the rental.

• A refundable security deposit may be required before vehicle pickup, subject to inspection upon return.

7. Insurance & Responsibility

• Insurance options may be available during booking.

• Customers remain responsible for any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, unauthorized drivers, or violations of these Terms.

• Personal belongings left inside rental vehicles remain the responsibility of the customer.

8. Vehicle Condition

• Every vehicle is cleaned, inspected, and maintained before delivery.

• Customers should inspect the vehicle upon pickup and report any existing damage immediately.

• Vehicles should be returned in substantially the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear.

9. Accidents, Damage & Theft

• Any accident, theft, or damage must be reported to the Company and local authorities as soon as possible.

• Customers must not admit liability or settle claims without prior authorization from the Company.

10. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation policies may vary depending on the service booked.

• Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or modify your reservation.

• Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to applicable charges.

11. Privacy

• Customer information is collected only to process reservations, provide services, and comply with legal obligations. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

• Sea's The Day Rent a Car reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.​.
